According to him, Jakarta Government is determined to vaccinate all targeted residents who are doing activities or staying in Jakarta by providing vaccines and vaccination centers in various locations. Mini vaccination center in shopping centers are expected to support economy to run optimally.

"Let's facilitate those who haven't been vaccinated. This collaboration will be very helpful and can attract more people to visit shopping centers and get vaccinated," he explained.

By providing mini vaccination center in malls, it can be a momentum to promote vaccination to the public in order to increase and realize herd immunity. Moreover, economy which faltered during the pandemic could rise again.

"Facilities and vaccinations are available, thus it is easier for people to access vaccination service. We just need to socialize and educate people who are not aware of the importance of vaccination thus later they want to be vaccinated," he mentioned.

For information, government has conducted trial of gradual opening for malls or shopping centers in Level 4 areas until August 16, 2021. Visitors are required to show vaccination certificate, at least first dose vaccination. However, children under 12 years old and elderly over 70 years old are still not allowed to do activities in shopping centers.
